For Bo McKinney, helping people make the most of their financial assets is rewarding work. Bo enjoys guiding his clients as they implement the investment strategies that help them meet their financial and life goals so they can achieve their unique vision of the American Dream.
As a Financial Advisor of EAGLE Wealth Management Group, Bo takes a comprehensive approach to wealth management. He sees his role as helping people make well-informed decisions about their investments and retirement plans–providing them with greater financial independence, peace of mind and security.
With almost 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Bo started his career in insurance with a large Atlanta-based firm and moved to advising individuals as a Financial Consultant with Shearson/American Express. In 1985, Bo joined Edward Jones – Investments and became the first Registered Investment Representative in the Taylor area. He was providing financial planning services even before it was highly known as a profession. His goal is to help protect and grow hard-earned assets of his clients, many of whom have experienced major life changes including retirement, divorce, or the loss of a spouse.
In 1989, Bo earned the Certified Financial Planner (SM) designation or CFP® from The College of Financial Planning (which required completion of two years of study and six exams). Bo continues to value education as a way to promote professional excellence. Additionally, he has earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (SM) OR AAMS® designation, the Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) designation and the Certified Income Specialist (CIS) designation.
Bo is an active member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (National and Austin Chapter), the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the FPA Austin, and the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC).
Bo has conducted numerous seminars and workshops on financial topics.. He regularly holds presentations for his clients and their friends on topics such as Retirement Planning, Long-Term Care and Asset Protection through Estate Planning.
Bo also contributes to his community through his involvement with the Taylor Family YMCA and the YMCA of Greater Williamson County where he serves on their Board of Directors.
When he’s not working, Bo enjoys spending time with his wife, Melissa, and their three beautiful daughters; Annie, Kathryn and Laura.
Mo graduated from Baylor Univeristy in 1980 with a BBA in Finance. He has been serving individual investors for 25 years.
Obtaining the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1986, Mo continued his education by earning the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations in 1989. He has amassed more than 1000 hours of continuing education in the pursuit and retention of his financial services designations.
Mo has two daughters who are Red Raider fans. Shannon, who graduated from Texas Tech University in 2005, and Katelyn, a recent graduate at Texas Tech.
Through the years, Mo has had the opportunity to serve his community in such capacities as Vice President of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce; Deacon, First Baptist Church; President, Georgetown Rotary Club; Texas Baptist Children’s Home Foundation Board; Georgetown Hospital Foundation Board and Georgetown Community Foundation.
Among his professional accomplishments, Mo established the first New York Stock Exchange office in Williamson County. He enjoyed success as a Limited Partner with a regional brokerage firm and Vice President of a nationally recognized money management firm. Mo’s experience on both sides of Wall Street only strengthened his resolve to work independently while managing the financial affairs of select families in Williamson County.
Away from the office, Mo earned a First Place finish in the Berry Creek Country Club Championship Golf Tournament, completed the Austin Motorola Marathon in 3 hours, 53 minutes and is teaching himself to play the piano.
Ryan earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor.
Driven by a passion for finance and helping others, Ryan began his professional career with a major bank as a Licensed Financial Specialist. He is continuing to serve investors as a Financial Advisor with Eagle Wealth Management Group.
Ryan has spent his entire life in the greater Austin area, more specifically, the last 21 years in Round Rock. Ryan enjoys being a part and serving the community through his involvement with the Texas Baptist Children’s Home.
Away from the office, Ryan loves spending time with his wife, Abby, and two children Mallory and Conner. Ryan also enjoys being active; Disc golf, Basketball, and flag football are just a few of his favorite activities.
Bryant graduated from The University of Texas in 1992 with a BBA in Finance and Risk Management. He is passionate about helping individuals and businesses make informed financial decisions through the creation of strong relationships, education, and tailored planning to meet specific goals.
Over the past 17 years, Bryant has conducted numerous workshops and presentations covering various topics from investment fundamentals, the basics of life insurance, retirement planning, college preparation and funding to estate planning. And he has been a radio talk show host providing financial advice to callers.
In 1996, Bryant obtained the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation from the Wharton School of Business and acquired the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification from the International Board of Standards and Practices for Certified Financial Planners in 2003. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA).
Bryant is a graduate of Leadership Round Rock, a member of the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and contributes to the community through his involvement with the Round Rock Independent School District Partners in Education Foundation and the Round Rock Serving Center.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, Heather, and their children Zachary, Hailey and Andrey.
Lisa attended Concordia Lutheran College and Sam Houston State University where she studied Business Management and Radio/Television/Film Advertising.
Working her way through college at a local Savings & Loan, Lisa recognized the importance of customer satisfaction. She has built a career that revolves around the philosophy that every person deserves to be treated as a VIP, because they are just that, the most important part of every business.
Her background includes Customer Service Specialist for a national health insurance company, IT Specialist for a world wide corporation, District Manager in the retail field, and a Dealer Support Services Manager for a national manufacturing company.
Lisa has a daughter that attends Taylor High School.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys being active in her community. She is a volunteer at her daughter’s high school. She supports the local food pantry. And, she is an active volunteer with the City of Taylor Animal Shelter, where her passion is to find all animals a loving & forever home.
Melissa has worked in the financial services industry for over 18 years. Her background also includes administrative experience in the manufacturing and medical fields as well as administrative and legal experience with a reputable Williamson County title company.
Melissa is more than the EAGLE Wealth Management Group’s administrative assistant. She is, most importantly, Bo’s loving wife. Melissa envisions her primary purpose as a supportive role model for their three daughters.
Melissa enjoys long walks and gardening. Her ultimate joy is sharing the hope of her faith with friends and neighbors.
